We are conveniently integrated with all Canadian banks, and you can test our service with a small amount to see how it works.

UFX has established working relationships with all major banks and credit unions. Transfer methods will depend on the sender’s and receiver’s banks as well as the currency pair.

We can send funds to G7 countries and many others in Europe, but we do not send funds to Africa, South America, the Middle East, or Asia. If you are sending funds to a non-G7 country, please ask us in advance to confirm if we can process the transfer.

In Canada, all companies handling money must be registered and regulated by FINTRAC (Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada). We are proud to be registered and regulated by FINTRAC.

All wire transfers are conducted through Canadian financial institutions that are strictly regulated by the government. For your protection and added security, we maintain a segregated account for your funds.

The safety of your hard-earned money is our top priority. We safeguard your funds in a segregated account at a major Canadian bank, with $1,000,000 set aside for consumer protection. This ensures that there is no risk of losing money during the exchange process.

With over a decade of industry experience, we proudly maintain an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.

After completing your currency transaction, we will send you a trade confirmation contract detailing all agreed-upon terms for your records. Each transaction is assigned a unique confirmation number and can be traced electronically with Canadian banks.

We offer expedited transfer options, with funds typically transferred securely by wire transfer or direct deposit the same day or the next business day upon request.

Our typical hours of operation are:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 9:30 PM EST
  • Friday and Saturday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM EST
